- Innovative design contributes to ease and versatility
- Exclusive planetary gearbox contributes to the hoist's compact, low-headroom design, low noise level and smooth operation. Lifetime grease lubrication means no maintenance is needed.
- Integral control panel encloses all electrical components (base plate, contactors, transformer, terminal strips, etc.) and is easily accessed for any maintenance operation.
- Easy trolley mounting attachment meets various application requirements. Slot in top of hoist body allows easy changeover of top hook, push trolley or motorized trolley mountings.
- Optional hour counter is available to assist with scheduled maintenance.
- Exclusive Trolley Drive Unit (TDU) control system offers 2-speed or variable-speed trolley operation. Minimum and maximum speed settings, as well as acceleration parameters, can be defined to provide easy and precise load placement, reduced load swing and less wear on equipment. The 115-volt control is designed to meet NEMA type 3R specifications. A plug-in electric trolley connection provides fast installation without special tools and facilitates detaching the hoist from trolley controls for maintenance or transport.

SAFETY

Meets and exceeds industry safety standards

Each LoadMate hoist is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed ASME HST H4, OSHA, ANSI, NEC, FEM and CSA standards for duty cycles typically required of general machine shops, fabrication and warehousing, All R&M hoists are statically and dynamically tested to Hoist Manufacturers Institute (HMI) standards with a minimum of 125% rated load prior to shipping.
- Electromagnetic disc brake-clutch combination is designed for high efficiency, total safety, easy access and adjustment. The brake and clutch are each independently dimensioned to hold a nominal load. An integral friction-type torque limiter helps prevent lifting of excessive loads which may damage the hoist.
- Upper/lower limit switches shut off directional power when the hook reaches the top or bottom limit of travel, providing safer operation and longer equipment life.
- Low-voltage controls enhance operator safety. 115-volt electrical control panel and pushbutton contol are standard; 48-volt control is available as an option. Emergency stop button is standard. Both control panel and pushbutton control are designed to meet NEMA type 3R specifications.
- Load hook is drop-forged and heat-treated for strength and durability. Safety latch reduces risk of improper load attachment.
